Malware and Viruses these terms are common nowadays, As soon as we are moving towards latest technology, especially towards IOT (Internet of Things) malware and ransom attacks are increasing day by day.

You have heard many times from people around you that, I have virus attacks on my computer or laptops. This is because they haven’t taken security measures carefully or even doesn’t follow any.

Virus attacks are increasing day by day, nowadays most popularly you have listened about WannaCry in which almost 200,000+ computers/laptops were affected.

Steps You Must Take To Prevent Viruses

Virus and malware attacks have increased in the modern world because of common use IOT, so you should take these measures and kept some in your mind to protect yourself.

Software Utilities Must Be Updated

When it comes to Virus attacks, everyone recommends that your software and other utilities you are using in your computer must be updated. Because in updates mainly there are bug fixes including other improvements.

Install Your Software in other than C drive (Windows Drive)

When it’s come to security, I personally used to install other software utilities other than C drive. I use to keep Windows only in C drive and some utilities. The philosophy behind this is, if you are affected by Virus then you must check that what’s new in C drive (Because the usual virus is found in C) and delete them manually. Also, make sure to check your C drive once a week.

Don’t Click on Suspicious Links

Nowadays, Virus are coming through links. If you click the links suddenly something downloaded, install and vanishes away (This is why I use to install Windows in C drive, not other utilities) and they are also not visible in Control Panel through which you can check, what new installed. Viruses are becoming smarter by the passage of time, so you have to be in use of your Computer.

Never Trust Social Medias

In the modern time, usage of social media becomes a part of everyone’s life, which is the main reason almost three-quarters of viruses and malware went from Social Medias. Mostly, people thinks that the links and other things found in social media is safe and sound and checked. But, they forget that social media is used by the same people like them, not by the founders only. So, it’s not perfect to download or use anything in your computer found through social media.

Avoid to Open Unknown’s Emails

Email malware has increased and has vital growth in it because almost every big organization or high-level person is using Emails for the agreements, deals and for many other official things. So, avoid to OPEN Emails of unknown persons or organizations.

In the last, as you know that no-one can stop hacking or virus attacks because there is always a human error in something, but if you have taken these steps seriously and kept them in mind in every walk of life when using a computer, then you can remain safe and sound.
